I couldn’t be happier with the incredible job Brentwood Art & Framing (11654 San Vicente Boulevard) did on framing a newspaper article. I went in with an article and very little idea of how I wanted it framed. Richard (the store owner) treated the job as if it was for himself. He gave me a handful of affordable options as well as helping me with his suggestions on how to make it look best. I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out AND he was able to do it so fast! I needed it done in 5 days and he had a can do attitude from the minute I walked in the store. Brentwood Art & Framing will now be my go to place for all framing. Total success!!
It was the day before mother’s day and I wanted these two art pieces framed to present to my mom. Richard helped me get the job done without hesitation. He was such a pleasant man and gave me everything that I asked for and more, not only was it the day before mother’s day but I got there 4 hours before closing. Richard you are the best and I really appreciate the work you did to make ordinary pieces look extraordinary. Your dog Chauncey made us feel very welcomed too.
I went into Brentwood Art & Framing to frame a poem, they were extremely helpful in frame selection process. They helped me pick out everything and I needed it to be ready on the same day and they did just that. The end product was amazing and I loved the clean and professional job they did. I definitely recommend them to everyone.

I love this place. Any time I need something framed and matted, I bring it here. The quality of work is excellent. Richard really knows what he is doing, and he has an eye for how to bring everything together. I don’t have an eye for these things, so I trust his logic on the frame/colors that should be used. Every time a piece comes back, I can’t believe how great it looks. His finished product is second to none. He has a huge selection of framing options to choose from, and he spends time with me to make sure I get exactly what I want. The shop is on the westside of LA, but you can get free validated parking in the back.
When Richard says he’ll be back at 2:00pm he means he’ll return to the store sometime between 2:00pm-2:10pm. But I wait because Richard’s keen eye and honesty is worth it. While I find him a bit pricey, everything on the westside comes at a premium, but at least at Brentwood Art & Framing Gallery it’s a price worth paying.
Such a great experience at this place! After calling numerous shops, including Michael’s art supply, and NONE of them being able to give me an estimate of how much it would cost to get my print framed (and all of them wanting to nickel and dime me, insisting I buy one of their frames instead of using my own), it was a real relief when I called Richard and got an exact estimate immediately and painlessly over the phone. I’m not sure what people are talking about in the previous reviews as far as prices go. I felt the price was extremely reasonable and the quality of work was worth more than its cost. Not to mention the shop owner is extremely generous and even threw in some glass for my frame for free to replace the cheap plastic cover it came with. Cool guy. Got my finished product only one day after I dropped it off too, so that was awesome. Highly recommend Brentwood Art & Framing Gallery. I was very impressed by the finished product and great customer service.
I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. Richard has a wonderful eye for picking the right frame and matting. I’ve had irreplaceable items framed here that I was uncomfortable leaving overnight – they made up the frame in advance, then I brought in the item and it’s placed while I wait. The service and finished product is worth the cost. I’m always treated well.
I went to Brentwood Art & Framing to have our ketubah backed and then framed and they did a great job! We found matting and a frame that we love (they have so many options) and they made sure that everything was how we wanted.
I came in with 3 very large and odd sized pieces and Richard, the owner, was extremely courteous and helpful. We priced it out and I couldn’t afford to frame them all. Richard then did me a solid and charged me for framing all 3 for basically the price of 1.5 pieces. In the end I paid less than a half of what Aaron Brothers would have charged and his work is top notch. I have and will recommend coming to Fast Frames to get framing done to all my friends. My Brentwood Art & Framing Gallery experience couldn’t have been better!
I only write Yelp reviews when I feel it’s necessary, and it definitely is with Richard. My first visit was for reframing our family Ethiopian crosses, as the frames was damaged during overseas shipping. I priced three other shops (including Aaron Brothers, because lets face it framing is expensive) and Richard by far gave me the best price. The crosses turned out perfectly and he even went above and beyond with painting the metal hooks to match them. I recently returned to have our wedding guestbook puzzle framed. This was a very difficult job, trying to make a puzzle that’s not glued together to look like it’s floating! But working with Richard made it easy and it turned out better than we expected. He’s creative, trustworthy, a great value, and a pleasure to worth with. I highly recommend him for framing needs big or small.
Highly professional custom work. The owner, Richard, has a fabulous eye, excellent taste, and a talent for maximizing the impact of any piece you bring in. The finished work is always gorgeous, and they are fast. The store is easy to find, and there is convenient parking in the rear, for which they validate.
Be aware, however, that you will pay a premium for the convenience, speed, and quality. The prices will be high to exorbitant. They don’t sell ready made frames.
Here’s a tip: Brentwood Art & Framing periodically mails $50 discount coupons to previous customers, but they can only be used one per visit. The coupons are good for several months, however. If you have more than one item to frame, save the coupons when they arrive, and take in your pieces to be framed one at a time, using one coupon for each visit. Ask for the price of your job first, and THEN produce your coupon. You’re going to need it.

I just went back to Brentwood Art and Framing Gallery to frame a wedding present for my friends — a shadow box of their invitation. I didn’t know if it was possible, but the sales guy gave me a great idea and the final product was both beautiful and unique. I rely on this place because they have excellent suggestions on how to bring out the piece being framed.

I rely on expert framing for my business, and this Art & Framing place is as good as it gets for value, quality, customer service, and design. I had a great experience with them, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good frame and art store in Brentwood. Working in Brentwood, I always feel that everything is overpriced. But after shopping around at a few framing places in the area, I really felt the prices at this place were incredibly fair and reasonable. And framing gets to be expensive!! But the guys here made sure all my options were on the table so I could get the best value for my money. My boss certainly appreciated the unexpected lower price of the frame. I was also very impressed with the quality of the products, especially the wide variety frames! The guys here made sure to help me find the best quality frame for my piece, with special emphasis on how to preserve the rare artwork. The store was really knowledgeable about how to present my piece with the best design possible. The frame and mat layout makes a HUGE difference and brings it all together. It really changed the entire look and made the piece stand out when we hung it on the wall. The store also had some unique ideas for preserving photographs and other important memories. I am thinking about coming back to get some of my wedding memorabilia framed in a beautiful shadow box. Here is the best part!! They delivered my piece for FREEE! And it was huge frame, but they delivered, carried it up to the office, and hung it up for free. You really can’t beat that type of customer service, and these days, it is hard to find that level of friendly service. Every little gesture that makes life easier is always appreciated.
